Day two is what matters
Many believe habits are fragile. Do you? I’ve seen concrete habits pulverized before my eyes. I believe they’re fragile.
Here’s the kicker.
Missing one day means nothing. Slipping one day means nothing. It happens to everyone. Pros know this. Day two is what matters. Day two is when the habit (or anti-habit) begins. Day two makes the downward spiral possible.
Did you screw up yesterday? Doesn’t matter. Today is what matters.
I owe this learning to Atomic Habits by James Clear. Five stars.
